It is entirely your decision how you produce your content to allow for the ad breaks. Some podcasters will highlight they are going to a break, and some won’t.
Highlighting a commercial break
An effective way of going into an ad break is splitting your show into designated parts and having a piece of audio production to punctuate one section ending and another beginning.
Example:
“Ok, that about wraps up part 1 of the show. We’ll be back in a moment in part 2 to answer your questions that you have sent into us.”

- Audio production
“Welcome back to the podcast. It’s time to talk answer your questions...”
Not drawing attention to the commercial break
Another way of flowing your podcast nicely into an ad break is by not drawing attention to it at all. Simply bring the conversation to a natural end, insert the ad break at this point, and then picking up with a phrase like “ok, let’s move on to XYZ”.
